Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
